Planning Engineer

As a Maintenance Planning Lead at Petrofac, your role involves developing maintenance plans to ensure equipment and systems are in good working condition. Your responsibilities include: - Creating schedules for maintenance activities based on equipment operating hours, production requirements, and resource availability - Coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of activities to required standards - Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair history, and maintenance costs - Monitoring equipment performance and recommending modifications to maintenance plans based on reliability data - Ensuring compliance with Oil & Gas safety regulations and developing procedures to minimize the risk of accidents - Analyzing maintenance costs, recommending cost-saving measures, developing training programs for maintenance personnel, and participating in continuous improvement activities - Collaborating with other departments to align maintenance activities with organizational goals and participating in various audit programs To excel in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree with 8 years or a diploma with 11 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Hands-on experience in CMMS software (SAP-PM & MM Module), EAM, and Microsoft Office - Certification in SAP- PM & MM Module (an added advantage) - Knowledge of maintenance processes, Oil & Gas safety regulations, ability to work independently and in a team, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, excellent organizational and time management skills, and meet deadlines Petrofac is a leading international service provider to the energy industry, assisting clients in meeting evolving energy needs and transitioning to alternative energy sources.
