Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare

  baseline project schedules

  using Primavera P6 or MS Project, based on the scope of work and project deliverables.
• Establish

  work breakdown structures (WBS)

  and detailed activity lists for plotted development projects including earthwork, roads, drainage, water supply, electricity, etc.
• Identify

  project milestones

  and

  establish the critical path

  to ensure alignment with client timelines and project goals.
• Monitor

  actual progress

  against baseline schedules and regularly update the project plan to reflect changes and delays.
• Generate and present

  weekly/monthly progress reports

  , S-curves, and lookahead schedules to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure schedule compliance.
• Assist in identifying risks and delays, and propose mitigation strategies in coordination with the project team.
• Support in resource planning, cost loading, and time impact analysis for changes or variations in scope.
• Ensure compliance with project planning and control procedures and assist in audits and reviews.

• Sound understanding of infrastructure works in plotted development (roads, stormwater, sewage, electrical, etc.).
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
