Planning Engineer

As a Planning Engineer at our construction company in Vile Parle, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and tracking project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting for commercial projects, encompassing RCC, Finishing, and MEP works. Your expertise in project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project will be instrumental in ensuring timely project completion. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing project schedules, creating baseline schedules, and analyzing project performance to recommend corrective actions for any potential delays. You will also prepare line schedules, Gantt charts, and other scheduling documents, track project progress, and collaborate with project teams to ensure schedule compliance. In terms of resource management, you will be tasked with developing resource allocation plans, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and identifying any potential conflicts along with devising mitigation strategies. Moreover, your involvement in budgeting activities, tracking project expenses, and identifying areas for cost savings will be crucial for project success. To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in planning engineering, specifically in commercial projects involving RCC, Finishing, and MEP works. Proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD is essential, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certifications in project management or planning engineering (e.g., PMI, AACE) and experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires you to work in person during day and morning shifts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Your diploma qualification and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are mandatory for this role.,
