Job Description

This job opening is with one of our esteemed clients, who is seeking a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who can work independently, take accountability, manage projects effectively, and demonstrate the maturity required to handle client relationships. Candidate must be flexible to travel for work or relocate if the project demands

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that align with client requirements and company objectives.
  2. Breaking down project milestones into actionable tasks and assigning them to team members.
  3. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions.
  4. Coordinating and communicating with the stakeholders of the projects, including Client, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and recording the communication in the specified manner
  5. Proactively communicating project updates, deadlines, and changes to all stakeholders (clients, contractors, architects, and engineers).
  6. Managing project resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to ensure optimal utilisation.
  7. Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including minutes, reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
  8. Overseeing project quality control measures and ensuring adherence to specifications.
  9. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance project efficiency.


Skills Needed for the job:

  1. Proven ability to develop and manage complex project schedules and budgets.
  2. In-depth understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  6. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
  7. Strong understanding of construction contracts and legal documents (a plus).

Experience required for the job:

  1. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in construction project planning and coordination.
  2. Must have worked in this role for a minimum of 2 years


Qualification

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Diploma
