Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Designation: Planning Executive

Department: QS/Planning/Billing

Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs
Conduct site measurements and verify quantities as per drawings
Support in preparing cost estimates, rate analysis, and budgeting
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers
Assist in preparing tender documents, quotations, and cost comparisons
Maintain records related to measurements, variations, and site progress
Support in preparing interim payment certificates (IPC) and contractor bills
Assist senior QS in preparing final accounts
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements
Perform any other QS-related tasks as assigned

Preferred candidate profile

Must have experience in construction industry.

Professional Experience

5 to 10 years
experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or related construction roles in construction industry.
Should have Experience in:

BOQ preparation
Material take-offs (MTOs)
Rate analysis
Tendering and cost comparisons

Core QS Competencies

Proficiency in:

Quantity take-off & measurement
BOQ preparation and formatting
Cost estimation and budgeting
Rate analysis and basic cost engineering
Knowledge of procurement procedures

Exposure to site work:
site measurements
, verification of quantities, and progress monitoring.
Background in
large-scale infrastructure

industrial projects
, roads & highway depending on company needs.
