Role & responsibilities

Industry Engagement & Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, HR professionals, and organizations across various sectors.

Actively reach out to new companies to explore placement and internship opportunities.

Keep track of industry trends and employer expectations to align the placement strategy accordingly.

Placement Drive Planning & Execution:

Plan, coordinate, and execute campus placement drives, job fairs, and recruitment events in collaboration with industry partners.

Ensure smooth logistics for placement activities, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and necessary documentation.

Communicate placement schedules and updates clearly to students and faculty.

Student Career Development & Support:

Guide students in resume writing, interview preparation, group discussion techniques, and soft skills enhancement.

Conduct mock interviews, workshops, and career counseling sessions to prepare students for recruitment processes.

Help students identify their career goals and suitable job opportunities based on their interests and skillsets.

Data Management & Reporting:

Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive database of recruiters, job openings, internships, and student profiles.

Track placement statistics, analyze trends, and prepare detailed reports for management review.

Collect feedback from recruiters and students to improve future placement activities.

Collaboration with Academic Departments:

Work closely with faculty and department heads to understand the academic progress of students and ensure they meet eligibility criteria for placement.

Organize industry interaction sessions, guest lectures, and workshops in collaboration with academic teams to enhance industry awareness.

Post-Placement Follow-up:

Stay in touch with placed students and companies to ensure smooth joining processes.

Gather feedback on job performance and offer support if any issues arise during the onboarding phase.
