Placement Director

You will be responsible for all activities related to student placement, including coordinating with industries to provide vocational training courses. You will organize on-campus and off-campus interviews for meritorious students, ensuring they secure suitable jobs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Industry-Institute interaction coordinator to arrange webinars and lectures by professionals and industry experts. Your role will involve developing a Placement Preparation Module to guide students for campus placements and reviewing the performance of students in the corporate sector by gathering feedback from companies. Organizing workshops and seminars for training managers and faculty members, arranging soft skills and interview-facing skills training, and preparing placement reports post Placement Drive/Job Fairs are also part of your responsibilities. You will work on enhancing collaborations with industries and associations for placement drives and Mega Job Fairs, and conducting regular meetings with college-level Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) to understand placement requirements. Developing a Management Information System (MIS) for tracking student placements, creating a database of recruiting industries, and performing any other duties assigned by the Provost and Registrar are vital aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will assist students in developing successful job search strategies, collaborate with faculty members to integrate career planning into the academic curriculum, and provide resources and activities to facilitate the career-planning process. Acting as a liaison between students, alumni, and the employment community, creating awareness about future career options, and conducting student assessments regularly will also be part of your job responsibilities.,
