Placement Coordinator

Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating student/jobseeker placements by connecting training center candidates with employers. They build industry relationships, organize placement drives, and ensure successful employment outcomes under skill development or academic programs.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with companies to arrange campus interviews, job fairs, and employer tie-ups
• Match student skills with job opportunities and share relevant openings
• Maintain records of placed and unplaced candidates, and prepare placement reports
• Conduct pre-placement sessions – resume building, interview prep, soft skills training
• Follow up with employers and alumni to track post-placement status
• Maintain strong industry contacts and update database of potential recruiters
• Support mobilization and career counseling activities if required.
• Ensure placement targets are met as per institutional guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably HR, Management, or Social Work)
• 3–5 years experience in placement, recruitment, or training sector
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MIS reporting, email communication)
• Familiarity with government skill programs like PMKVY, DDU-GKY, TNSDC is a plus
• Ability to coordinate with training staff, students, and employers professionally
