Pipping Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering:
• Develop piping layouts, routing, and isometric drawings using relevant design software.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and specifications for piping components.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, GA drawings, and material submittals.
• Project Execution:
• Oversee fabrication, erection, and installation of piping systems at project sites.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with engineering design, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams for interface activities.
• Technical Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, and other relevant piping codes and standards.
• Incorporate statutory and safety requirements in design and installation.
• Coordination & Documentation:
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams for technical discussions and approvals.
• Maintain project documentation, test reports, and quality inspection records.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of piping design, fabrication, and erection processes.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, or similar piping design tools.
• Familiarity with ammonia handling systems, SCR/SNCR DeNOx systems preferred.
• Sound understanding of material selection for corrosive and high-pressure services.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and isometric drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Pay: ₹9,794.91 - ₹53,419.08 per month
