As a Design Engineer specializing in Hydraulics and Creo with a focus on Pipe routing, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Piping routing, Creo, PTC Windchill, and GD&T. Your role will be based in Hyderabad, India. To be considered for this position, you should hold a B. Tech (Mechanical) or DME qualification and possess a minimum of 4 years of overall work experience, particularly in Heavy Equipment, Automotive Engine Design, or Agricultural Equipment design. Proficiency in CAD tools is essential, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Creo 4.0 modules. Key areas of expertise required include: - Hydraulics and pipe routing - Sheet metal modelling and detailing - Large assembly management Your responsibilities will involve creating 2D/3D concept drawings, preparing Bill of Materials, tube routing, hose routing, and the selection of Pipes/Hoses and their end-fittings. Additionally, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of hydraulic layouts, basic principles, and hydraulic components. Experience in Wind-chill PDM execution, working knowledge of GD&T with ASME Y 14.5 standards, and the ability to read and comprehend complex drawings are crucial for this role. As an independent worker capable of executing tasks with minimal support, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, will be essential for effective collaboration within the team. Responsible for: Overall responsibility for piping routing for various piping systems essential for power boilers (supercritical). Understanding of P&ID. Interaction with process engineer for process data, etc. Clash check / review using SPR. Generating clash check report. Providing input to stress analysis team. Interaction with stress analysis team for optimization of routing with sufficient flexibility and support feasibility for an optimized routing. Modeling of supports as per stress analysis output. Isometrics extraction. Manual updating of isometrics using Auto CAD / 2D MicroStation. Preparation BOQ, release of isometrics with Material Request, etc. Required Skills: A sound knowledge of SP3D piping modeling. Capable of working with AutoCAD / 2D MicroStation. Experience in routing of pipes for Power Plant Application is considered as an added advantage. Knowledge of codes and standards for industry. Review & checking of designs, drawings and data by other discipline or suppliers. Review & preparation of material take-off, estimate. Basic knowledge of stress analysis requirement and hanger/support. Review of Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) for supercritical power boilers A sound knowledge of Microsoft excel / words, etc. Basic knowledge in power plant supercritical boiler.

Job Roles and Responsibilities : Candidate with minimum 12 year of experience and relevant 8 years into Piping Design B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Highly skilled Piping Design Engineer with strong expertise in Autodesk Plant 3D and a solid background in mechanical design for industrial projects. Hands-on experience in various piping and layout-related deliverables and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities : Develop and review GA drawings, Equipment layouts, Foundation layouts, Piping routing, Piping Layouts, Piping Isometrics, Pipe Supports, Tank drawings, Platform, and structure drawings and BOQ using AutoCAD Plant 3D. Can read, understand and identify the P&D (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). Coordinate with design, process, engineering, and site erection team. Ensure adherence to industry standards, piping standards, drawing standards, project specifications and scope. Support site team with design clarifications and resolve technical queries. Prepare documentation and drawing deliverables for project milestones and client approvals. Proficient in executing tasks using software tools like PDMS, E3D, MDS & AutoCAD. Minimum 5+ years of experience with PDMS/E3D tool and piping design and detail engineering related execution. Ability to develop concepts/Conceptual studies, Equipment Layouts/ Safety & Escape Route Layouts as per project requirements. Equipment Modelling & Pipe routings in accordance with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and stress requirements using PDMS/E3D. Extraction/Preparation of Equipment layout drawings, Piping GAD's, Pipe Support GAD'S, Safety layouts, Special Pipe Supports. Modelling of Pipe support in PDMS/MDS in line with industry standards, and client specifications. Extraction of Isometrics and Pipe supports drawings from 3D PDMS Model. Review of Vendor drawings and implementing changes in design. Perform Clash checks, Data Consistency checks prior to issuance of deliverables. Co-ordinate with Inter-disciplines in timely manner to avoid rework for finalizing the Piping design. Prepare Piping Bulk, Insulation & Pipe Support MTO's. Plan and deliver assigned tasks accurately within the agreed time frame. Prioritize activities and effectively manage conflicting deadlines ensuring continued progress to meet the schedule. Proactively provide Lead Designer with status updates. Good knowledge on international codes & standards. Ability to work independently.
