Piping Design Engineer

• Proficient in executing tasks using software tools like PDMS, E3D, MDS & AutoCAD.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with PDMS/E3D tool and piping design and detail engineering related execution.
• Ability to develop concepts/Conceptual studies, Equipment Layouts/ Safety & Escape Route Layouts as per project requirements.
• Equipment Modelling & Pipe routings in accordance with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and stress requirements using PDMS/E3D.
• Extraction/Preparation of Equipment layout drawings, Piping GAD's, Pipe Support GAD'S, Safety layouts, Special Pipe Supports.
• Modelling of Pipe support in PDMS/MDS in line with industry standards, and client specifications.
• Extraction of Isometrics and Pipe supports drawings from 3D PDMS Model.
• Review of Vendor drawings and implementing changes in design.
• Perform Clash checks, Data Consistency checks prior to issuance of deliverables.
• Co-ordinate with Inter-disciplines in timely manner to avoid rework for finalizing the Piping design.
• Prepare Piping Bulk, Insulation & Pipe Support MTO's.
• Plan and deliver assigned tasks accurately within the agreed time frame.
• Prioritize activities and effectively manage conflicting deadlines ensuring continued progress to meet the schedule. Proactively provide Lead Designer with status updates.
• Good knowledge on international codes & standards.
• Ability to work independently.
