Piping Design Engineer

Position: Piping Design Engineer

Experience: 3- 5 Years

Location: Chennai

Role & responsibilities

• Basic engineering calculation such as pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation, temperature

drop, pump sizing calculation, IBR thickness calculation, PRDS sizing, safety valve sizing,

tanks sizing, equipment sizing etc.,

• Preparation of valve schedule, line list & insulation schedule
• Preparation of Bill of material preparation for piping, valves & specialties for procurement.
• Preparation of bid document for all type of valves, all type of specialties, pumps, tanks,

vessels, plate type heat exchanger & piping.

• Technical review of all the drawings submitted by the vendors for their respective power

plant equipment's.

• Preparation & review of Overall Layout, Equipment Layout, isometric & piping layout

drawings.

• Review of 3D Model in Navis

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E ( Mechanical ) with 3 to 5 Years of experience in experience in basic engineering

calculation such as pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation, temperature drop, pump sizing

calculation, IBR thickness calculation, PRDS sizing, Piping Layout, safety valve sizing, tanks

sizing, equipment sizing etc.,
