Pipe Fitter

• Blueprint Interpretation:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the layout and requirements of piping systems.
• Pipe Installation:
• Cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications.
• Install and assemble pipes and fittings, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for each project.
• System Maintenance and Repair:
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and repair leaks, malfunctions, or other issues in the piping systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of piping systems.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other professionals, including welders, plumbers, and engineers, to coordinate activities and ensure project success.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical training in pipe fitting is preferred.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a pipe fitter in a shipyard or similar environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, and welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of different types of pipes, fittings, and materials.
• Physical Fitness:
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Stamina to work in physically demanding conditions.
• Problem-Solving:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and address issues effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
