Job Title: Pipe Fitter – MEP Projects

Salary: 30000 to 45000 plus other benefits based performance.

Job Summary

The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and mechanical systems used in HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting works across MEP project sites. The role requires strong technical skills, accurate measurements, and the ability to work independently or with a team under site supervisors/engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting services.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes according to project specifications.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, isometrics, and installation details.
• Install valves, supports, brackets, hangers, and related accessories.
• Perform pressure testing/leak testing as instructed by the Mechanical Supervisor/Engineer.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and quality of pipe installations.
• Coordinate with other technicians and supervisors to maintain workflow.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist in material handling and report shortages or damages.
• Support commissioning teams when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Plumbing, or relevant mechanical trade (preferred).
• 2–7 years of hands-on experience in MEP piping works.
• Strong knowledge of GI, MS, PVC, CPVC, PPR, copper piping, and fire-fighting piping.
• Ability to use hand tools and pipe fabrication equipment.
• Ability to follow drawings and technical instructions accurately.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Basic knowledge of safety rules and PPE usage.

Additional Requirements

• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial or industrial MEP projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet project timelines.
• Willingness to work overtime or in shifts as project demands.
