Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pipe Fitter located in Chennai. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems. Day-to-day tasks include pipefitting, welding, and ensuring the systems meet safety and operational standards. The role requires precise measurement and cutting, joining pipes using various welding techniques, and working with steam systems.

Qualifications

Experience with pipes and pipefitting
Proficiency in welding techniques, including TIG welding
Knowledge and experience with steam systems
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work accurately and safely in an on-site environment
Previous experience in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry is advantageous
High school diploma or relevant technical certification
