Job Description

Order Fulfillment: Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications, using order sheets or electronic scanners. Quality Control: Inspect products for damages, defects, or quality issues before packing and report any discrepancies to a supervisor. Packaging: Pack items securely using appropriate materials (e.g., cardboard boxes, pallets, shrink wrap, tape, packing foam) to prevent damage during transit, especially given the nature of building materials. Labeling and Documentation: Label packages with vital shipping information, fill out relevant order forms and invoices, and maintain accurate records of stock movement using computer systems or manual methods. Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand tools to move products within the warehouse, which is crucial for heavy building materials. Shipping Preparation: Move completed and labeled orders to the designated shipping area, stage them for loading, and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organizing the warehouse to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient workflow. Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area, and report any health or safety concerns.
