Picker/Packer Job DescriptionJob Title: Picker/Packer Department: Warehouse / Logistics Location: —Saraspur, Ahmedabad Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager Job Summary: A Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking products from the warehouse shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. The role ensures timely and error-free order fulfillment to support smooth warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Pick items from storage based on daily order sheets. Scan, label, and verify products for accuracy. Pack items safely using appropriate packaging materials. Prepare and organize orders for dispatch. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. Assist in inventory counts and stock management. Follow safety protocols and company policies. Report damaged or missing inventory to the supervisor. Skills & Qualifications: Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Ability to lift moderate weights (varies by company). Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and communication skills. Prior warehouse experience (preferred but not always required). Work Environment: Warehouse setting with standing, walking, and lifting. May involve shift work depending on company needs.
