PHP & Wordpress Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress + PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to building, maintaining, and optimizing high-quality websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in WordPress development, PHP programming, and modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Write clean, optimized, and well-documented PHP code.
• Integrate front-end components with WordPress and PHP backends.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Implement new features and ensure seamless integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and plugins.
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly.
• Debug issues related to performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and project managers on project development.
• Maintain website security and perform regular updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with WordPress REST API, hooks, actions, and filters.
• Knowledge of page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
• Familiarity with API integrations (payment gateways, CRMs, etc.).
• Basic understanding of server management, cPanel, and hosting environments.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
