Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled PHP WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins using PHP. You will be responsible for building fully functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites tailored to client or project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to match project needs.
• Build responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways where required.
• Optimize website performance for speed, efficiency, and SEO.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues in existing WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Maintain security best practices and perform regular updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with custom post types, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), WooCommerce, and WordPress REST API.
• Ability to develop custom themes from scratch (without page builders if needed).
• Familiarity with debugging tools like Query Monitor, Debug Bar, etc.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
• Good understanding of website performance, accessibility, and security standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with WooCommerce for eCommerce projects.
• Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of website deployment and hosting platforms like cPanel, Plesk, or managed WordPress hosting.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
