Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality PHP-based applications that are scalable, robust, and secure.
• Architect and implement solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all applications are secure, reliable, and perform well under load.
• Stay up to date with the latest PHP developments, industry trends, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for architectural designs, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Continuously improve the development process and contribute to a culture of innovation and Proven 10+ years experience as a PHP Architect or in a similar senior development role.
• Should have done at least 3 major PHP app development and deployments.
• Extensive experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design is a plus.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools is a plus
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
