Job Description

A Pharmacy Incharge, also known as a Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a hospital pharmacy's operations, ensuring efficient and safe medication management, and compliance with all relevant regulations. They manage staff, inventory, and budgets, while also providing guidance on medication use and handling. Here's a more detailed breakdown of their responsibilities:1. Staff Management and Training:

  • Supervising and mentoring pharmacy staff (pharmacists, technicians, etc.).
  • Training staff on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback.

2. Medication Management and Dispensing:

  • Overseeing the dispensing of medications according to prescriptions and ensuring accuracy.
  • Managing medication inventory, including storage and ordering.
  • Ensuring proper handling and storage of controlled substances.
  • Monitoring medication use and potential side effects.
  • Providing guidance on medication dosage, administration, and potential interactions.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensuring the pharmacy adheres to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols to minimize errors and enhance patient safety.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.

4. Inventory Control and Budget Management:

  • Managing the pharmacy's inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Controlling costs and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Developing and managing the pharmacy's budget.

5. Customer Service and Communication:

  • Addressing customer (patient and healthcare provider) requests and complaints.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
