Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Vijayawada. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate prescriptions, counseling patients on drug usage, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.
• Review and verify prescriptions to avoid errors or potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper use, dosage, side effects, and storage of medicines.
• Maintain pharmacy records, stock levels, and inventory management.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of controlled substances.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding medication therapy.
• Monitor patient compliance and provide medication-related guidance.
• Stay updated with new medicines, formulations, and pharmacy regulations.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional standards of pharmacy practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) / Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma).
• Registration: Valid registration with the Andhra Pradesh State Pharmacy Council.
• Experience: 0–3 years (freshers may apply; prior hospital/retail pharmacy experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dispensing protocols.
• Good communication and patient counseling skills.
