Key Requirements: MS/DNB in Ophthalmology Minimum 6 years of independent surgical experience Proven expertise in Phacoemulsification (Phaco) and Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) Competence in handling intraoperative and postoperative complications Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Commitment to teaching and mentoring Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities Roles & Responsibilities: Perform high-volume Phaco and SICS surgeries with precision Oversee comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care Manage complex cataract cases and other anterior segment conditions Participate in the training of cataract fellows and optometry interns Engage in clinical audits, case presentations, and research Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Contribute to the hospital’s mission of accessible and affordable eye care At Drishti Netralaya, we offer a dynamic, collaborative work environment with opportunities to contribute to both clinical excellence and medical education .
