PRT Social studies with Graduation/Post Graduation in respective subject. Candidate should be hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the CBSE school curriculum.
The position will involve teaching students and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities. The applicant should be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the respective subject areas.

Job Summary:

The PGT Political Science will be responsible for teaching Political Science to Classes XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering critical thinking, civic awareness, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Political Science for Classes XI & XII in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through regular tests, revisions, and exam-oriented practice.
• Evaluate students’ performance, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage discussion, debate, and critical analysis of political concepts and current affairs.
• Integrate ICT tools and innovative teaching methodologies in classroom instruction.
• Participate in curriculum planning, subject enrichment activities, and academic meetings.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
• Participate in school events, examinations, invigilation duties, and professional development programs.
• Stay updated with CBSE circulars, syllabus changes, and assessment patterns.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
• Master’s Degree in Political Science (M.A. Political Science).
• B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Experience:
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Experience in handling CBSE board classes (XI–XII) is desirable.
