The teacher will contribute to planning, assessment, remedial support, and overall academic growth as per CGBSE/CBSE guidelines.Key responsibilities
• Teach Mathematics to Classes IX–XII as per the respective CGBSE/CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
• Prepare yearly, monthly and weekly lesson plans, question papers, worksheets and practice material.
• Use clear explanations, step‑by‑step problem solving and regular practice to build strong concepts and exam readiness.
• Conduct class tests, unit tests and pre‑board examinations; evaluate answer scripts and share timely feedback with students and parents.
• Identify slow learners and high achievers; plan remedial and enrichment sessions accordingly.
• Integrate basic use of technology (presentations, online resources, digital question banks) in classroom teaching where feasible.
• Maintain proper class discipline, student records, marks registers and documentation as required by the school and board.
• Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, academic planning meetings, and in‑service training/workshops.
• Support the school in board exam work, result analysis and improvement planning for Mathematics.
• Contribute to Olympiad/competitive exam preparation, extra classes and doubt‑clearing sessions when scheduled.

Eligibility and qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (preferred/mandatory as per management decision and board norms).
• Prior experience teaching senior secondary Mathematics (CGBSE/CBSE) will be preferred; freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered.
• Ability to explain concepts in simple English and Hindi for mixed‑ability classrooms.
• Strong blackboard/whiteboard work, clear handwriting, and structured problem‑solving approach.
