We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons for Grades 11–12 across both Cambridge International (AS & A Level) and CBSE curricula. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Chemistry, skilled in modern pedagogical practices, and capable of preparing students for board examinations and competitive assessments. Key Responsibilities:Academic Delivery: Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons for both CIE (AS & A Levels) and CBSE (XI & XII) syllabi. Prepare detailed lesson plans, learning objectives, and lab activities in alignment with curriculum standards. Ensure syllabus coverage, timely assessments, and revision for board and international exams. Laboratory Work: Conduct and supervise experiments in the Chemistry lab following safety guidelines. Guide students in scientific investigation, experimentation, and analysis. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer tests, quizzes, assignments, and practical exams. Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback. Prepare students for CBSE Board Exams and CIE examinations (AS & A Level). Academic Enrichment: Identify students’ learning needs and differentiate instruction accordingly. Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and concept-based learning. Support students with remedial sessions and advanced prep for competitive exams (NEET, etc.). Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with subject peers for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary activities. Engage with parents during PTMs and maintain regular communication about student progress. Professional Development: Stay updated with latest developments in Chemistry, pedagogy, and assessment techniques. Attend training workshops, curriculum review meetings, and subject-related conferences. Qualifications: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry. B.Ed. (mandatory for CBSE curriculum). Certification/training in Cambridge IGCSE or A Level curriculum (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (CBSE &/or CIE). Experience in handling both curricula will be an added advantage. Skills Required: Strong subject knowledge in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online assessment methods. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
