Job Description

Position: PGT Chemistry

Location: New Heights School, Hardoi (UP)

Job Type: Full-Time

Joining: February End / March

Salary: As per experience and school norms

Key Responsibilities

Teach Chemistry to Grades IX–XII with strong conceptual clarity (Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry).
Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Conduct practical classes and ensure proper safety and functioning of Chemistry labs.
Evaluate assignments, conduct assessments, and maintain academic records.
Guide students in board exam preparation, lab work, and project assignments.
Create an interactive, safe, and disciplined learning environment.
Use smart-class tools, digital resources, and innovative teaching methods.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, trainings, and examination duties.

Qualifications Required

Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry).
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Experience teaching CBSE Senior Secondary classes preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong command over Chemistry content and lab procedures.
Clear communication and effective classroom management skills.
Ability to manage laboratory work safely and efficiently.
