1. Academic Instruction and Curriculum Implementation

• Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that adhere to the latest CBSE curriculum (Classes XI and XII) and examination standards.
• Cover all branches of advanced chemistry, including Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
• Utilize effective pedagogical techniques, demonstrations, and modern technology (e.g., simulations, interactive periodic tables) to enhance student understanding.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and innovative activities.

2. Laboratory Management and Practical Instruction

• Conduct and supervise practical sessions in the Chemistry Laboratory, ensuring all students follow proper safety protocols.
• Guide students through the mandatory practical experiments as prescribed by the CBSE syllabus.
• Maintain accurate inventory of lab chemicals, glassware, and equipment, and ensure the laboratory environment is safe and well-organized.
• Inculcate good laboratory practices and data analysis skills in students.

3. Assessment and Evaluation

• Design and administer fair and comprehensive assessments, including internal exams, practical assessments, and objective/subjective tests.
• Maintain precise and timely records of student academic performance and progress.
• Analyze student results to identify learning gaps and provide targeted remediation or advanced instruction.
• Provide rigorous preparation for the CBSE Board Examinations by conducting regular mock tests and structured revision classes.

4. Student Guidance and Mentorship

• Mentor and guide students on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in numerical problems and reaction mechanisms.
• Offer support and coaching to students preparing for competitive entrance examinations (e.g., JEE, NEET, CUET).
• Encourage student participation in science fairs, chemistry Olympiads, and inter-school competitions.

5. Departmental and School Contribution

• Actively participate in departmental and staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development and planning.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding student performance, laboratory requirements, and safety protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in chemistry and educational best practices.
