Devisahai Charan Dass Associates is the Authorised Del Credre Agent for Reliance Industries across both the Textile and Polymer divisions.

In Textiles, we have been associated with Reliance Industries since 1972, marking over 50 years of strong partnership and consistent growth. As the largest Textile DCA in India, we have built a robust network of wholesalers, retailers, and uniform businesses, achieving several key milestones over the decades.

In Polymers, our association with Reliance began in 2003, enabling us to serve a diverse customer base with reliability and timely insights on price trends, supply, and payment terms. We deal in Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and Polyvinyl Chloride, and are among the largest DCAs of the Delhi Regional Office in terms of limits and total tonnage. Our reach spans multiple sectors including Hygiene, Packaging, Pipes, Fibre Optic Cables, and Automotive.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Plastic Engineer with a strong background in polymer science, specifically in understanding polymer grades, and good experience in marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, analysing, and marketing plastic products, ensuring that they survey the market and generate new lead along with servicing existing customers. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in plastics and polymers, along with a strategic mindset for market positioning and customer engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

·      Analyse and select appropriate polymer grades for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

·      Stay updated on the latest advancements in polymer science and plastic engineering to keep up with the customer demands.

·      Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive products.

·      Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market segments and applications where the company’s products can be positioned.

·      Identify potential business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.

·      Individually handle customer meetings with top management and bring sales

·      Do comparative pricing with competition and convince customers


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Engineering or Polymer Science
  • Any Similar Degree with experience in Polymer field is preferred.
  • Course/ Degree in Marketing
  • Computer Knowledge of Excel Formulas, Google Sheets etc


Experience:

·      3+ years of progressive experience in Polymer industries, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.

·      Prior experience in similar industry is a plus. (Preferably Reliance System)

Skills:

·      Strong understanding of Technical Knowledge of Polymers and thorough understanding of Polymer Grades

·      Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and ability to handle clients single handedly

·      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and marketing skills.
