Full job description Driving: Safely operate vehicles on designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely arrival at destinations. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks, including ensuring cleanliness, checking fluids, and reporting necessary repairs. Safety: Prioritize the safety of passengers and cargo, and ensure the vehicle is in safe working order. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any relevant trip details. Customer Service: Provide a positive and courteous experience for passengers. Additional Tasks: Depending on the specific role, drivers may assist with loading and unloading, or perform other tasks as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid license for the type of vehicle being operated. Driving Skills: Exceptional driving ability and a clean driving record. Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Familiarity with traffic regulations and road safety procedures. Navigation Skills: Ability to navigate routes effectively, potentially using GPS or other navigation systems. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and arrive on schedule. Communication Skills: Good communication skills for interacting with passengers and clients.
