Personal Banker

Position Summary

The Personal Banker serves as the primary point of contact for individual customers, helping them manage their financial needs and make informed banking decisions. This role involves building lasting relationships, providing personalized guidance, and offering suitable banking products and services to support customers’ financial well-being. The Personal Banker ensures a high-quality customer experience while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with day-to-day banking needs, including account inquiries, transactions, and service requests.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct financial needs assessments to identify appropriate products such as savings accounts, credit cards, personal loans, insurance, and digital banking solutions.
• Proactively promote bank products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals.
• Achieve individual sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Educate customers on product features, fees, benefits, and digital channels

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications in sales, banking, or customer service are an advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or sales.
• Previous experience in handling customer accounts or financial transactions is desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Basic understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work toward sales targets while maintaining service quality.
• Proficiency with banking systems and MS Office applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹264,214.04 - ₹529,265.07 per year
