As a Peoplesoft Developer - Oracle ERP at Apexon, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business objectives and problems to develop implementable technical designs. Working closely with Business Analysts, you will participate in requirements definition sessions and collaborate on developing alternative design solutions. Your responsibilities will also include designing, coding, testing, and implementing complex programs, as well as enhancing existing systems and providing support for production systems. You will be expected to participate in peer/code/design reviews to ensure quality standards are met, create test scenarios, and develop test plans to verify client requirements. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating development tasks, conducting technical reviews, and providing escalation response for production problems. Collaborating with various teams and departments, you will help define needs and facilitate solutions while assigning work and development tasks to less experienced team members. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) and at least 7 years of relevant work experience, with 5 years in a Healthcare setting preferred. Your technical expertise should include strong knowledge of Oracle Peoplesoft v9.x HR and/or Finance/Supply chain application modules, PeopleTools 8.5x, and various Peoplesoft tools such as Application Designer, Peoplecode, SQR, and PS Query. Experience with Peoplesoft application performance tuning and SQL tuning is desirable, as well as exposure to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be flexible, analytical, and have good organizational and time-management skills. Previous supervisory experience and familiarity with Peoplesoft implementations and upgrades will be advantageous. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, with the flexibility to work from any Apexon location (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad). The role requires working in the Apexon office for 2 days a week, with a budget of 90kLPM. Immediate joiners with at least 7 years of experience as a Peoplesoft Developer in Oracle ERP are preferred.
