Job Description

Role Overview: As the Global People Operations Manager at your company, you will lead a team of 4 People Operations Specialists in India. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regional employment laws, and aligning with global HR policies. This position is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the office two days a week and work from home three days a week. You will report to the Senior Manager of People Operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the daily operations of the People Operations team in India, overseeing service delivery, case management, and transaction accuracy. - Provide guidance to individual contributors at all levels to foster a high-performing team culture. - Collaborate with the Senior Manager in the U.S. to align team objectives with the global People operations strategy. - Ensure that employee inquiries, escalations, and People & Culture transactions are handled using Workday and ServiceNow, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining compliance. - Oversee complex or sensitive People & Culture cases that require escalation, ensuring resolution. - Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve the employee experience within the India region. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, addressing any gaps or risks in partnership with legal and compliance teams. - Represent the People Operations team during cross-functional meetings. - Assist in the execution of global People & Culture projects, ensuring successful implementation within the India team. - Look for opportunities to automate processes utilizing Workday, write the requirements and test scripts, oversee testing and the successful implementation of the process change. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. - 6+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial role. - Knowledge of Indian labor laws, employment practices, and compliance requirements. - Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
