Role Overview: As the People and Culture Leader at Microair Avionics in India, you will play a crucial role in driving the talent strategy and fostering a high-performance culture across the global business. Your responsibilities will include partnering with leadership to ensure the right skills are in the right roles, leading recruitment efforts in India and Australia, managing onboarding and induction programs, supporting performance management, developing people policies, strengthening company culture, coordinating training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices in India. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with global leadership to ensure strategic goals are met with the right skills in place. - Lead end-to-end recruitment processes in India and Australia, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews. - Manage onboarding and induction programs for new hires. - Support performance management and professional development programs. - Develop and implement people policies aligned with global standards and local regulations. - Strengthen company culture by fostering collaboration, inclusion, and respect. - Coordinate training and upskilling initiatives to support employee growth and retention. - Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees on HR-related matters. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices in India. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations within an international or multi-site business. - Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes. - Fluent in spoken and written English with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-border teams. - Ability to operate independently, take ownership of outcomes, and build trust across cultures. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. - Experience aligning local HR practices with global frameworks and policies is highly desirable.
