Job Description

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A deep interest in Cyber Security and a drive to learn about penetration testing skills through hands-on practice, research, and community engagement

Preferred Technical Skills:

Basic Knowledge of: OWASP Top 10 web application vulnerabilities
Familiarity with tools such as: Nmap, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nikto (Web/App Testing) Nessus, OpenVAS, Kali Linux (Infrastructure Scanning), and Metasploit (for controlled exploit validation)
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) and secure SDLC methodologies.
Basic knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and JSON/XML workflows.
Experience using Postman/Newman or simple Python/Bash scripts.
Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 and basic MobSF or apktool usage.
Fundamental understanding of prompt injection and LLM data flows.
Basic knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP services, IAM, and shared-responsibility model.

Good to have:

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
CompTIA Security+
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
