The department aims to drive high impact projects delivering process transformation and quality improvement across business functions The team supports and augments the customer experience platform across the bank About the Role The Data quality and governance team member is responsible for the development and implementation of a data governance framework that ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timelines of data This includes developing and managing data quality standards, metrics and processes, overseeing data stewards and coordinating data quality initiatives : Develop and maintain a data governance framework that aligns with the banks strategic goals Define data quality standards and metrics, and develop processes for monitoring and reporting on data quality Oversee the activities of data stewards, who are responsible for ensuring the quality of data within their respective domains Coordinate data quality initiatives, such as data cleansing and data migration projects Work with business and IT to identify and resolve data quality issues Stay up to date on data governance best practices and trends Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in data quality and governance Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices Experience with data quality tools and techniques Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, a candidate needs to possess the following: Working knowledge of MDM Led large projects on data quality improvements Experience in managing large team and driving change at organizational level Exceptional People management skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario with many stakeholders Efficient and confident communicator who inspires the team and engages senior management on relevant topics in a time efficient manner Experience in working with data analysts to identify, forecast, and report on tests, performance Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests Excellent working knowledge of MS PowerPoint & Excel Knowledge of Share point, MDM, ETL & Informatica
