Pediatric Registrar

Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Conduct thorough medical assessments and monitor pediatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Assist in the management of acute and chronic conditions in neonates, infants, and children under supervision of consultants. Perform and interpret necessary investigations, including blood tests, imaging, and developmental assessments. Participate in ward rounds, emergency calls, and neonatal resuscitations as needed. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) for each patient. Collaborate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and families to ensure coordinated care. Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and departmental training activities. Candidate Profile : Medical degree (MBBS) with valid registration. Postgraduate training in Pediatrics (DCH, MD, DNB, or equivalent) preferred or in progress. Strong knowledge of pediatric protocols and clinical guidelines. Ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially in neonatal and pediatric emergencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
