Job Title P&C Design Engineer Experince 4-8 years Location Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyd, Pune & Bangalore) Notice period Immediate Joiner Job Description Responsible for The role will support project activity within the Electrical Design Department. Overall Purpose The P&C Designer role will be to support all elements of the Electrical Design throughout the design and construction phase of projects, with particular emphasis on Protection and Control Duties and Responsibilities Assist with all electrical Design aspects of a project in line with the project timescales Preparing technical specifications and selecting electrical equipment for the project Coordinating the electrical design and liaising with the Protection/Controls and Civils designers. Preparing Electrical Diagrams such as (SLD s, AC/DC Schematics, Interlocking, Block and Multicore Diagrams. Preparing Cable Schedules and Calculations (HV, LV & DC cables) Managing the site communications design with the control s designer, Including Multicore and SCADA design. Assisting in the preparation of the system studies (P28/29, ENA G5/5,G99 Compliance) Liaising and providing technical support to the Design coordinator so the Client can be informed on the progress of the design. Assisting with preparing PGMD for the clients G99 Applications. Preparing Design risk assessments ensuring that the design is safe and in line with the relevant Health and safety and CDM regulations.
