Role & responsibilities

Payroll Management

• End-to-end payroll

  processing for monthly payroll (factory & staff payroll)

• Ensure accurate computation of salary, overtime, incentives, deductions, LOP, arrears, and reimbursements

• Maintain payroll data in HRMS / Excel

  with high accuracy
• Process

  Full & Final settlement and gratuity calculations

• Coordinate with Finance for

  salary disbursement and payroll accounting entries

Statutory & Labour Law Compliance

• Handle compliances related to

  PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Income Tax (TDS)

• Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory returns and challans
• Coordinate with consultants and government authorities when required

• Maintain statutory registers and records

  as per Factory Act & Shops & Establishment Act

• Support audits (

  internal, statutory, labour inspections)

Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports on payroll cost, headcount, statutory payments

• Reconcile payroll data with finance and compliance records
• Ensure adherence to company policies and labour law updates

Employee Support

• Resolve employee payroll,

  tax, PF, ESIC, and compliance

  -related queries
• Support annual processes such as

  Form 16, bonus, gratuity, and audits

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll and labour laws
• Hands-on experience with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS compliances
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Experience with HRMS / Payroll software
• Good coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
