Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees.
Validate attendance, leave records, overtime, shift allowances, incentives, and deductions.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, reimbursements, and other components.
Handle payroll-related statutory filings such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other applicable laws.
Generate and submit monthly/quarterly/annual statutory reports.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and tax regulations.
Maintain up-to-date payroll records in HRIS or payroll software.
Manage new joiner and exit payroll formalities (F&F settlement).
Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation data.
Prepare periodic payroll reports for Finance, HR, and management.
Support audits by providing payroll data and documentation.
Reconcile payroll accounts with finance ledgers.
Respond to employee payroll-related queries (salary slips, tax, leave deductions, etc.).
Assist employees with income tax declarations, proofs, and Form 16.

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge of payroll systems and statutory compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Confidentiality and ethical conduct
