Payroll Accounting Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at the Gurgaon, India location, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Flexibility to work in a shift framework from 12 noon to 9 pm IST or 3 pm to 12 midnight IST. - Engage with onshore/offshore team members to monitor operational performance and results. - Train offshore/onshore Analysts in core accounting tasks such as Journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation preparation. - Conduct SOX compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. - Lead continuous improvement projects independently or in collaboration with other stakeholders. - Manage time effectively as part of a global workforce with the ability to work in shifts as required. - Provide technical and process guidance to stakeholders for smooth operations. - Review and submit root cause analysis reports to identify corrective actions for process gaps. - Review updated Desktop procedures and ensure timely submissions for annual review and approvals. - Participate in meetings with external vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Tertiary accounting qualification (e.g., Diploma, bachelors degree) or higher education (CPA, CA, ICWA, Masters degree etc.). - Experience in accounting team roles involving the review of journals and balance sheet reconciliations. - Previous experience working in a global team or remotely with global stakeholders. - Knowledge of SOX control environment and terms. - Project experience, either through participation or leading/managing, will be advantageous. - Lean/Six Sigma certifications will be an added advantage.,
