Responsibilities:
Perform on-site installation & configuration of payment terminals (POS devices) and related equipment as per company specifications.
Safely remove obsolete or faulty payment devices and replace them with new/upgraded hardware.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure device performance.
Provide hands-on technical assistance and basic operational training to merchants for effective usage of payment devices.
Accurately document service visits, issues, resolutions, and parts used in the service management system.
Adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and internal processes during field operations.
Coordinate with internal technical teams; provide timely feedback and updates as per TAT expectations.
Requirements:
Education: BCA B.Tech Diploma in Computer Science or IT
Experience: 1-3 years in IT hardware/field support (Payment POS or IT hardware experience preferred)
Technical knowledge in device installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Strong communication & customer handling skills
Willingness to travel within Bangalore for merchant support
