Paymaster Cum General Cashier

Role Overview: You will lead the financial input into the formulation and implementation of the Hotel Strategic Plan and Budget, along with other key strategic planning exercises. Your responsibilities will include preparing the daily Cash Report, hotel deposits, and auditing cashier daily deposits to maximize cash flow performance. Additionally, you will establish internal controls for revenues and expenses, balance the GC safe daily, and perform any duties assigned by Management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead financial input into strategic planning and budgeting - Prepare daily Cash Report - Handle daily hotel deposits and send to the bank - Audit cashier daily deposits - Maximize hotel cash flow performance - Balance the GC safe daily - Establish internal controls for revenues and expenses - Perform additional duties as assigned - Deal honestly and fairly with clients, customers, suppliers, and financial partners - Maintain and report accurate financial and operating information - Provide analysis, interpretations, and projections - Support professional development of Finance staff - Obtain legal counsel regarding hotel business practices - Maintain awareness of local laws and regulations - Ensure safekeeping of contracts, leases, and financial records - Interact with external individuals like the hotel's bank and tax auditors Qualifications Required: - Strong financial background - Experience in strategic planning and budgeting - Proficiency in financial analysis and interpretation - Knowledge of internal controls and procedures - Ability to maintain accurate financial records - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements Company Additional Details: The company values integrity, professionalism, and continuous development.
