In the role of Financial Lead at the hotel, you will have a significant impact on the formulation and execution of the Hotel Strategic Plan and Budget, along with other strategic planning initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will encompass: - Preparing the daily Cash Report, managing hotel deposits, and conducting audits on the cashier's daily deposits. - Maximizing the cash flow performance of the hotel and ensuring the daily balancing of the GC safe. It will be your responsibility to establish and enforce adequate internal controls and procedures for all revenues and expenses, safeguarding assets, and maintaining honest dealings with clients, customers, suppliers, and financial partners. Keeping accurate and timely financial and operating information, providing analysis, interpretations, and projections in accordance with the finance manual guidelines will be integral to your daily tasks. Moreover, you will be accountable for the professional growth of all Finance staff at the associate level, identifying training requirements, and facilitating staff training. Seeking appropriate legal advice on hotel business practices, staying updated on local laws, rules, and regulations, and ensuring the safekeeping of contracts, leases, and financial records will fall under your purview. You will also engage with external entities such as the hotel's bank, tax auditors, and other stakeholders as needed.
