Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Pattern Master with strong knowledge of ethnic garments, especially saree blouses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate patterns, overseeing cutting and sampling, and supporting the production team to ensure well-fitted, high-quality garments. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Barasat factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Create precise patterns for blouses, sarees, and related ethnic garments
• Interpret design sketches and translate them into cutting-friendly paper patterns
• Work closely with designers and tailors to finalize fittings and prototypes
• Modify and improve patterns based on fitting feedback
• Guide the cutting team and ensure consistency in pattern grading and sizing
• Maintain and organize a library of master patterns
• Ensure timely delivery of patterns for sampling and bulk production

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pattern Master in ethnic wear
• Expertise in blouse cutting, including traditional and designer styles
• Strong understanding of garment construction and tailoring techniques
• Ability to interpret fashion sketches into production-ready patterns
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and knowledge of sizing variations
• Team player with strong communication and time management skills

Additional Job Details

• Work Location: Barasat, Kolkata (On-site only)
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (6 days/week)
• Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
• Start Date: Immediate
