Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient appointments, follow-ups, and service inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information about hospital services, doctors availability, consultation timings, and locations.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using the hospital management system (HMS).
  • Maintain call records and update patient details accurately in the system.
  • Coordinate with reception, counsellors, and marketing teams for smooth patient flow.
  • Handle patient feedback and escalate complaints to the concerned department when necessary.
  • Ensure all calls are handled professionally and within set service standards (TAT & quality metrics).
  • Support teleconsultation and online appointment processes.
  • Generate daily and weekly call reports as required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and local language).
  • Good telephone etiquette and patient-handling skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
