Your key responsibilities

- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues
- Sign all types of tax returns with varying complexities
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge
- Conducting tax briefings, tax technical and process trainings
- Provide season planning and monitoring deadlines for your responsible accounts and communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders
- Manage the engagement team - set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met
- Identify and champion new services that the sub-service line can perform
- Cross-sell extended services to clients
- Represent the sub-service line practice to external audiences
- Spearhead by example and be a role model. Develop, mentor, coach and supervise teams
- Demonstrate leadership and executive presence
- Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders
- Knowledge of the firm policies related to independence, confidentiality and privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing
- Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
- Develop a flexible and adaptive management style to meet the diverse needs of our people and clients
- Prepares and organizes the season on its accounts in collaboration with onshore managers.
- Adapts the organization to different specificities and customer needs.
- Participates and engages in weekly DM/DMS meetings.
- Pilot actions/projects to improve processes and tools.
Skills and attributes for success
Experienced with
- Tax Reporting, Risk Assessment, Tax and Social Security regulations
- Effective communication skills by being articulate, thoughtful and adapting communications to target audiences, interacting effectively in person, by phone and in writing- including chatting
- Good systematic, numeric, and teaming skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor s / Master s degree
- 8 -10 years prior experience in Individual Taxation
- Preferably experienced in Mobility clients
- Professional certification, Global Mobility Specialist is desirable
- Strong computer skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Ideally, you ll also have
- Experience in Maintaining Client Trust and Value
- Commercial Astuteness
- Finding innovative ways to engage and work with teams virtually
- Basic MS office knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple and intercultural stakeholder relationships
- Excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Exposure to quality control and risk management processes
- Strong project management and people management skills.
- Experience working in a client facing role is preferred
