Role Overview: As a Partner / Managing Director at AWE Funds, you will be responsible for co-leading fund raising, developing investment strategies, managing portfolio, and identifying impactful investment opportunities in alignment with the fund's gender lens vision. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, establishing key partnerships, and guiding innovative enterprises to achieve both financial and societal impact. Additionally, you will be leading efforts in attracting mission-aligned Limited Partners (LPs), building a high-performing team, and driving organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Co-lead fund raising activities and develop investment strategies - Oversee portfolio management and identify impactful investment opportunities - Collaborate with stakeholders and establish key partnerships - Guide innovative enterprises towards achieving measurable financial and societal impact - Lead efforts in attracting mission-aligned Limited Partners (LPs) - Build and manage a high-performing team to drive organizational goals Qualifications Required: - Strong leadership and management skills with experience in leading investment teams and setting strategic directions - In-depth knowledge and domain expertise in the sectors of Climate, Health primarily, and Future of Work, Financial Inclusion selectively - Ideally possess full cycle experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, or impact investing - Excellent proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and portfolio management - Networking and partnership development abilities to foster collaboration with stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and investors - Proficiency in business strategy, operational planning, and mentoring startups Additional Details of the Company: AWE Funds is a deeptech and tech-led innovation-focused AIF Cat 2 equity fund that primarily invests in the sectors of Climate and Health, while selectively focusing on Future of Work and Financial Inclusion.
