Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Paintshop Engineer, located in Chennai. The Paintshop Engineer will oversee paint shop operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. The role includes planning and supervising painting processes, maintaining proper functioning of equipment, managing resources effectively, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with production targets.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of powder coating paint processes, coating technologies, and quality assurance standards.
• CQI 12 compliance
• Mechanical and technical skills, including expertise in maintaining paintshop equipment and tools.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead operational workflows.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Engineering or a related field; prior experience in paintshop processes for the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
