Packing Executive

We are seeking a diligent Packaging Executive to handle the daily packing and preparation of e-commerce orders. Your main responsibility is to ensure that every customer receives the exact product they ordered, packed securely and neatly, ready for handover to courier partners. Key Responsibilities1. Order Picking & Preparation (Product Prep)Read Orders: accurately read the "Pick List" or Invoices generated from platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Website) to understand which items need to be packed. Product Retrieval: Locate and pick the correct products from the shelves based on SKU, Color, and Size. Product Preparation: Ensure the product is clean and presentable. (If applicable) Fold garments neatly, check for tags, or bubble-wrap fragile items. Quality Check (QC): Perform a final visual check to ensure the product is not damaged or defective before packing. 2. Packing & LabelingSecure Packing: Pack items using the appropriate materials (brand boxes, polybags, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit. Labeling: Accurately match the Shipping Label with the Product. (Crucial Step: ensuring the label for Customer A goes onto the packet for Customer A). Speed & Efficiency: Maintain a good packing speed to ensure all daily orders are ready before the courier pickup time. 3. Inventory & Material ManagementStock Organization: Keep the packing desk and inventory racks organized and tidy. Material Alert: Inform the manager when packaging supplies (tape, boxes, bags) are running low so new stock can be ordered. Return Processing: Assist in opening returned parcels and re-folding/re-packing good quality returns to put them back on the shelf. Requirements & SkillsExperience: Previous experience in packing, warehousing, or retail helper roles is a plus (but freshers can apply). Skills: Ability to read English (to read product names, sizes, and addresses on invoices). High Attention to Detail: Must be able to distinguish between similar colors or sizes to avoid wrong shipments. Physical stamina to stand and pack for extended periods. Attitude: Honest, hardworking, and punctual. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy: Zero wrong items sent to customers. Presentation: Neatness of the final package. Speed: Ability to complete the daily target of packed orders before the courier arrives.
